Don't you love it when lessons learned in life pay off?!?!!

I agree with your thoughts on sleep. I've noticed a huge difference in the way I view life and everyone in it when I'm running on enough sleep. You're right, that's very interesting about the weight! No wonder the less our country sleeps, the heavier it seems to get!

Everyone needs more zzzzzzzzz's.

Joi,
I went through your list and found myself resonating with each one. And saying to myself, 'I do that," so I guess that all the lessons learned over the past 15 years or so have paid off. (Yes!) And, as a result, I am now more calm, healthy, and happy mentally than I have ever been. You present a powerful formula here that anyone can benefit from.

I must put in an extra vote, however, for sleep. Sleep, for me, is sacred rest. It is what keeps me in harmony—body, mind, and spirit. Most women (U.S.) are sleep deprived. Studies bear that out. And unhealthy to prove it. One of the very very very best things we can do for ourselves is get 7 1/2 - 8 hours sleep a night. One such study recently demonstrated that women who get this amount of sleep each night actually have a healthier weight overall too...Very interesting!
