More Important than Fear….

Courage

The Courage Art Print, above, sort of goes with the rumbling and mumbling I was doing yesterday about courage. I had pointed out that some people bail out of the fight because they’re cowards. When I read over the post last night, the word coward struck me as unkind, and I never meant it that way. Being a coward simply means fear is present but bravery called in sick. That doesn’t make the person bad, wicked, evil – it simply makes them afraid….and we’ve all been there!

I think the words on this art print could prove very helpful to someone battling demons dressed in fear: “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.”

That something else? It’s called life, and it can’t be lived with our heads covered with a blanket. Not lived well, anyway. Throw the blanket on the floor and see what you can make happen today!

Make each moment count double,
