How Going Nuts Keeps You Calm

Pistachios, one of my hubby’s favorite nuts (I like to think I rank higher), may just be more than yummy. Penn State nutritionists found that having 1-1/2 ounces daily….about a handful….for 1 month helped keep subject’s blood pressure down in stressful situations.

With 3 ounces came an added bonus: Increased artery relaxation, which is believed to lighten your heart’s workload. That’s news to really go nuts for!

Time to mix in some crushed pistachios with a dollop of ice cream tonight!
