Crossword Puzzles, Fish and Tuning Out

What do crossword puzzles, fish, and turning off your television have in common? They’re three steps that lead to a better memory and stronger mind. According to an Australian study, people who work crossword puzzles, eat fish at least once a week, and watch less television than the norm have stronger memories and recall skills.

The study involved 30,000 people. Guess the Idiot Box is still, pretty much, the Idiot Box….but I’d wager that a lot of that has to do with what’s being watched.
