There’s an excitement surrounding New Year’s that nearly equals that of Chritmas. It’s not the punch, it isn’t the football and it most definitely isn’t the black-eyed peas. (Though with just enough pepper and chopped onion…)
The excitement comes from the hope and promise of a fresh start. That’s why I love resolutions – they’re the wheels that’ll drive you out to meet that fresh start!
If you haven’t already done so, you might want to start thinking about the resolutions you want to make (and keep). Write them down somewhere you’ll see them throughout the year, like in a day planner, a journal or a calendar. When the inevitable slide occurs, it’s much easier to right yourself early in the descent rather than later. That’s why it’s good to see your goals throughout the year…keeps one honest and accountable!
Starting with the next post, I’ll go into detail – one at a time – about some various resolutions as well as ways to make them stick like gummy rice. I’ve been doing my homework and I’ve found some great stuff for us to mull over.
If you’ve been wondering where your fresh start is – it’s waiting for you on Sunday morning!
Make each moment count double,
~Joi

Yes resolutions … in my opinion we should make resolutions throughout the year, not just at the New Year:) But it’s good symbolic moment, I agree. Persistence is what we need to fulfill our resolutions. So I’m sending loads of persistance to all!
Happy New Year!
I totally agree. I started long ago making Monday resolutions – mostly a re-stating of the original new year’s resolutions….particularly the “tricky” ones like drinking more water, driving PAST McDonald’s more often, keeping the closet organized (horrific stuff like that!)
Great post thanks
